The resort is the last property in that kolara range just adjacent to the forest. The rooms, starting from bathroom, balcony and other spaces in the room are very good. Except some open spaces under the doors and windows allow insects and frog to enter inside. The caretaker helped us to get rid of those. Thankfully we did not face any major issue for that. Service i received was top notch.... Property has good ambience. Worth it.read more
It's a beautiful resort right next to the Kolara Core Gate. Swapnil is an excellent host, lit up our evening with his stories and information about the surroundings. He can be really helpful in booking your safaris too.Rooms are good, the food is great.The staff at the resort are really nice people, they were always at hand to help us with whatever we needed doing the best they could... do.Most importantly, this is a Pet Friendly resort. The entire staff love dogs and every chance your pet will have a lovely time. It was such a delight that our pet was allowed to roam leash free around the resort (which has its risks) and this really helps our city dwelling dogs to explore with new smells all around.read more
If you are looking for a place with good service, good food and clean rooms with a great view of the jungle, bagh kothi is at your rescue. The best location directly gives you the view of kolara zone of the jungle.This was our first stay at Bagh Kothi and we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful hospitality extended to us during our stay.We stayed for 3 nights and we were on a family trip.... Every requirement of ours was well taken care off. Listening to Mr. Swapnils safari experience was the icing on the cake and spending time on the Machhan witnessing the sunrise was also a memorable experience.They have an extraordinary chef who cooks the most delicious home like spread.Over all a fabulous experience. We visited Tadoba from 5th Nov - 8th Nov and stayed at Bagh Kothi, a luxurious wildlife resort well and truly in the wilderness.This was our first stay at Bagh Kothi and we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful hospitality extended to us during our stay.Right from the moment we checked in, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Led by Mr. Swapnil, the Director and Chairman of... the property, the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, and we enjoyed the delicious food that was served in the Gufa restaurant.For early morning Safaris that last for 4 hours, we were provided with packed breakfast in a basket.Icing on the cake was bonfires in the evening where we sat down and shared our Safari experiences with other guests. Mr. Swapnil's hair raising anecdotes of his own encounters in the wild and knowledge of the wild life made the evenings more engaging, entertaining and sometimes scary.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Bagh Kothi resort and will definitely be back the next time we are planning a trip to Tadoba.read more
Bagh Kothi is an excellent resort, we stayed there for 4 days from November 5th to 8th. The atmosphere is so welcoming, the host Mr Swapnil goes out of the way to make you feel so comfortable, all your needs are taken care of, food is excellent, lot of efforts are put into making your stay a memorable one. When you go on the morning safari, they provide packed bfast in baskets as the safaris are... 4 hrs long. Bonfires in the evening are really enjoyable, they serve some snacks and we all shared our safari experiences, we had a wonderful stay, will surely visit again.read more
